Canajoharie Community Recreation (CCR)

CCR is available for a variety of recreational activities for all ages. Our service areas are the Canjo, Ft. Plain and OESJ school districts. Basketball, volleyball, pickleball, soccer, walking and general exercise are a few of the activities that can be done at CCR.  We're happy to host organizations,

clubs, school teams and volunteer-run programs in our service area for recreational activities.

CCR accommodates individual or small group play. Each of the conditions below apply. 

It is required that you contact us in advance.

WE NEED TO ARRANGE AND PAY STAFF FOR ANY ACTIVITY AT CCR.

WE CANNOT OPERATE AS A "PLAYGROUND" WITHOUT A SCHEDULE OR FACILITY MONITOR. 

IT'S NECESSARY TO CALL US WELL IN ADVANCE TO SCHEDULE A PROGRAM OR VISIT.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All minors under the age of 18 MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES by a responsible adult or adult program organizer.  CCR staff do not provide supervision. All adult escorts or program organizers must review and complete our User Agreement and provide all required Liability Release documents.

FEES: Examples of some uses or programs that are required to pay a fee:

A fee will be charged: (1) If we need to schedule staff specifically for your use; (2) Any program we consider to be private or restricted; (3) Large programs - the number to be determined by the nature of the activity; (4) Users from outside of our service area; (5) Any other activity where we determine a reasonable fee is appropriate.

CCR is closed when Canjo Schools are closed due to weather.
